What is the Shelf Life of Compostable Packaging and How do I Store it?

Compostable packaging typically has a shelf life of around 10–12 months from the date of manufacture, under proper storage conditions.

Compostable materials are designed to break down under specific composting conditions, but they remain stable during normal storage and use when protected from the main factors that accelerate degradation — heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
